What problems may arise during the use of tire pyrolysis equipment and what are the professional solutions?
Industry News / Date:February 20, 2025
Many customers are operating tire pyrolysis equipment, and numerous individuals are eager to enter this business. Understanding the potential issues and their solutions is crucial for smooth operation. This article aims to detail the common problems during the use of tire pyrolysis machines and offer professional remedies.
DOING waste tire pyrolysis equipment
Problem 1: Fire inside the reactor when discharging carbon black
Solution: Once this occurs, keep the tire pyrolysis equipment rotating until the fire extinguishes. Then seal the discharging door and continue rotating the reactor for about 2 hours. After that, open the valve on the feeding door to release gas and pressure. Before opening the valve, if there is any remaining oil gas, you can also turn on the vacuum device to suck it out.
Problem 2: Fire inside the reactor when pulling the steel wire
Solution: The staff should immediately stay away from the tire pyrolysis equipment the fire is extinguished. If the staff finds white smoke coming out when opening the furnace door to loosen the screws, they should immediately close the door of the tire pyrolysis equipment, turn the pyrolysis reactor, and then evacuate or open the feed inlet valve to exhaust and reduce the pressure.

Problem 3: Oil outlet leakage and fire
Solution: Cover the leakage with a wet blanket, stop heating immediately, but keep the tire pyrolysis equipment reactor rotating until no oil gas is leaking out.
Problem 4: Cracked glass sight glass and oil leakage
Solution: Cover the glass pipe with a towel and continue the pyrolysis process.

Problem 5: Interrupted pyrolysis due to unexpected circumstances like power outages and equipment failures.
Solution: If the interruption occurs within 2 hours of starting operation, simply restart the tire pyrolysis equipment when everything returns to normal.
If the interruption occurs more than 2 hours after operation starts and the oil gas has not come out yet, restarting the tire pyrolysis equipment when normal is also sufficient.
If the interruption occurs more than 2 hours after operation starts and the oil gas has already come out, before restarting: heat the reactor for about 15 minutes, then rotate the reactor about 90° (not exceeding 180°), close the reducer to check if the reactor will fall back to its original position. If so, repeat the heating and rotation steps until the reactor no longer falls back on its own, and then restart the tire pyrolysis equipment for normal operation.
Problem 6: Blockage of the Condensation System
Solution: Regular maintenance of the condensation system is essential. Install filters before the condenser to prevent impurities from entering. If blockage occurs, use appropriate cleaning agents to clean the tubes thoroughly.
