Can we use used engine oil in the pyrolysis plant reactor?

Yes, used engine oil can be pumped into the pyrolysis plant reactor for further processing, but we recommend you to use the used engine oil distillation machine.

As we all know, distillation efficiency, catalytic process, safety are the main factors to consider when you choose a suitable used engine oil recycling machine. But since pyrolysis reactor is in a horizontal structure and continuously rotates during the working process, only less half of the pyrolysis reactor can be used for loading oil and the source of the heating is only from the combustion room at the bottom of the reactor, so it is not safe and efficient enough. Therefore, if you want to obtain better quality oil from used engine oil with higher work efficiency and safety, the used engine oil distillation machine will be a better choice.

In the catalytic process of our used engine oil distillation machine, the oil gas is treated by two kinds of catalysts: catalyst A and catalyst B. Function of catalyst B is to absorb impurities inside the oil gas and meanwhile remove the dark color to some extent. After processing by catalyst B, the pure oil gas will be processed by catalyst A, and the function of catalyst A is to make heavy oil gas thoroughly break down. Then oil gas will flow into the cooling system and condensed into diesel to be collected in the oil tank. However, it is not as easy and efficient to equip such catalytic process with the pyrolysis plant reactor as to equip it with our oil distillation reactor in a vertical structure to process used engine oil.

Regarding safety, the distillation reactor of our used engine oil distillation machine adopts a vertical design which can achieve automatic slagging. Thus to save time and energy in the slagging process. Also, it can prevent the workers from hurting from the hot asphalt discharging to ensure safety during the operation. It is much safer than the way of discharging by horizontal pyrolysis reactor.
