What's the energy cost of running tyre pyrolysis plant project?

The main energy consumption for tyre pyrolysis is the heating energy that is needed in the pyrolysis process. Pyrolysis is process of molecular breakdown where larger molecules are broken down into smaller molecules under a certain temperature. In the process of waste tyre pyrolysis, long chain polymers are broken down into smaller chains of hydrocarbon Gas and Pyrolysis Oil.

From 10ton waste tyre, you are supposed to produce average 4.5ton tyre pyrolysis fuel oil which is also named by heavy fuel, heating fuel, or furnace fuel,etc. You can see the heating energy consumption is not big, because the flammable non-condensate hydrocarbon gas is mostly recycled to furnace as the auxiliary pyrolysis heating energy.

Compared with heating energy consumption, the power consumption of our batch waste pyrolysis pant is very indistinctive. The average power of our batch 10ton pyrolysis plant is only 30kw, the total pyrolysis process that consumes power is about 10 hours, so the total power consumption for 10ton batch pyrolysis plant per day is 300kwh.

But, you know, our waste pyrolysis plant has different processing capacity and different model, so the energy consumption varies a lot. For our Doing batch pyrolysis plant, heating energy is the main consumption as analyzed above, and the energy consumption for smaller capacity will be smaller. For our bigger capacity continuous waste tyre pyrolysis plant, the power consumption will be more distinctive than the heating energy consumption.
