The process flow diagram about how a waste tyre to oil machine works
Feeding→Preheating→Pyrolysis oil producing→Pyrolysis reactor cooling→Tyre carbon black discharging→Tyre steel wire discharging is the general process flow about how a batch type waste tyre to oil machine works.
Take a batch 10ton capacity waste tyre to oil machine for example, its working process is as follows:
The 1st step--Feeding waste tyre
Feed waste tyre into pyrolysis reactor of the waste tyre to oil machine manually or automatically with auto-feeder. Waste tyre with diameter <1.4m can be fed directly in to pyrolysis reactor. If tyre size is bigger than 1.4m, the cutting work will be necessary, but simple cutting is ok, no need to shred it.

The 2nd step-- Preheating pyrolysis reactor
Since waste tyre to oil is a thermal pyrolysis process, so high temperature is needed before the pyrolysis process starts. Coal/wood/diesel/tyre pyrolysis oil/LPG/CNG all can be as the heating energy for pyrolysis reactor of the waste tyre to oil machine. Normally the preheating will take about 2hours, once pyrolysis process starts, the uncondensable syngas will be produced as the auxiliary heating fuel, which can greatly save the machine heating energy.
The 3rd step -Pyrolysis oil producing
The pyrolysis oil producing of the 10ton waste tyre to oil machine will last about 8-10hours. During this process, temperature control is very important, and it will decide how many fuel oil you can extract from waste tyre. Under good temperature control, the pyrolysis oil is producing slowly and slowly, which can ensure a good oil yield , besides syngas can be best taken advantage to make the waste tyre to oil machine more energy saving.
